Paraffin Gauze Dressing B.P. Sterile is non-adherent, anti-septic tulle gauze dressing impregnated with chlorhexidine acetate 0.5%. Paraffin Gauze Dressing consists of fabric of Leno weave of cotton, which has been impregnated with white soft paraffin. This Gauze Dressing is used as for effective treatment for burns, skin graft, bed sores and other major injuries where skin has been damaged partially or fully. Chlorhexidine is an antimicrobial agent that is effective against a wide range of gram positive and gram-negative bacteria. keeping proper moisture in the wound

FEATURES:
Made of cotton gauze with big pores
It is sterilized, non-adherent, non-allergenic so that the adherence of the product to the surface of a granulation wound can be reduced.
Covered with soft paraffin layer, the dressing does not adhere to the wound, which allows for atraumatic change of the dressing and pain reduction for the patient
Mesh structure allows for correct wound ventilation and free flow of exudates to a secondary dressing.
Can be shaped or cut according to the needs in a sterile manner
needs to be covered with a secondary absorbent dressing e.g. high absorption capacity swabs or polyurethane foam
Sterile with gamma radiation.
Recommended for uninfected wounds, dressing chronic wounds: bedsores, ulcers, treating surgical wounds, burn wounds, places of injections, skin transplants and damaged skin, protection against post radiation skin damage.
3 years of expiry shelf life.
