STERILE X RAY DETECTABLE LAPAROTOMY SPONGE
A laparotomy sponge is used during surgery as packing to prevent closing or obstruction by intrusion of viscera, as covering to prevent tissue injury, and as absorbents Lap Sponges are made from 100% bleached gauze. They come with a tail and X Ray detectable thread. Made in different Ply and sizes it is used in multiple OT procedures depending on absorption capacity required.

Absorbency =3-5s, whiteness =80% A.
Soft and higher of absorbency with 100% all natural.
with or without cotton loop (blue loop).
pre-washed or non-washed/sterile or non-sterile.
All sponges are edge stitched and are X-ray detectable in both pre-washed or non-washed options.
We also custom manufacture Laparotomy Sponges according to custom specifications some examples include double x-ray, bundle rolled or folded, CSR wrapped. All sponges are Latex Free.
Available in Sterile and unsterile packing.
Comes with or without X-ray detectable threads/tapes.
