IV CANNULA WITH WINGS AND INJECTION PORT
Intravenous (IV) cannulation is a technique in which a cannula is placed inside a vein to provide venous access. Venous access allows sampling of blood, as well as administration of fluids, medications, parenteral nutrition, chemotherapy, and blood products. IV Cannula with integrated injection port and valve for peripheral catheterisation. Permits needle-free administration of bolus medications during infusion. Back-cut needle bevel and tapered end of the cannula allows easier insertion and minimises the risk of vein damage. Wing position reduces the risk of bacterial contamination by preventing any direct contact between the rear of the cannula hub and the skin.
